Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Serens mobile application ("Serens" or "the App"), provided by Serens Wellness, a trading name of Kelieff Holdings ("we", "our", "us").

By downloading, installing, or using Serens, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or 16 years in certain jurisdictions) and that you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Serens is a personal wellness application that provides:

• Habit tracking — create and manage personal habits with custom schedules, streaks, and reminders (Free)
• Mood journalling — log your daily emotional state, sleep, and health (Serens Pro)
• AI Journal — Claude-powered daily prompts, voice note recordings, and reflective journalling (Serens ProAI)

Features available to you depend on your subscription tier: Free, Serens Pro, or Serens ProAI.

3. Account Registration

To use Serens you must create an account using a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate registration information
• Keeping your password secure and confidential
• All activity that occurs under your account

Notify us immediately at hello@serens.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

4.1 Free Tier

The Free tier is available at no cost and includes Habit Tracking. No payment information is required.

4.2 Paid Subscriptions

Serens Pro and Serens ProAI are available as monthly or annual subscriptions, billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Current pricing:

• Serens Pro — £5.99 per month or £35.99 per year
• Serens ProAI — £7.99 per month or £49.99 per year

Prices are shown in GBP and may vary by region. All payments are processed by Apple or Google under their respective terms.

4.3 Free Trial

Paid plans may include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged the applicable subscription fee. Trials are offered at our discretion and may not be available in all regions.

4.4 Renewals and Cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date through your device's App Store account settings. We do not offer refunds for unused portions of a subscription period, except where required by applicable law.

4.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of the App after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Serens only for lawful personal wellness purposes. You must not:

• Use the App for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data
• Upload or transmit any harmful, offensive, or unlawful content
• Use the AI Journal feature to generate content that is harmful, abusive, or illegal

6. AI Journal Feature

The AI Journal feature uses the Claude AI model provided by Anthropic, PBC to generate personalised journal prompts. By using this feature you acknowledge that:

• AI-generated prompts are for personal reflection only and do not constitute medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice
• You should not rely on AI prompts as a substitute for professional mental health support
• Anthropic processes brief contextual information to generate prompts in accordance with their API usage policies

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or call the relevant emergency services.

7. Intellectual Property

All content within Serens — including the App design, graphics, logos, icons, and underlying software — is owned by Kelieff Holdings or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of all content you create within the App (habit names, journal entries, mood logs). By using Serens, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of Serens without our express written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Serens is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be available at all times, free from errors, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for your needs. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kelieff Holdings shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Serens.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £50 if you are a Free tier user.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Third-Party Services

Serens integrates with third-party services including Supabase, Cloudflare, Anthropic, RevenueCat, Apple, and Google. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.

11. Termination and Account Deletion

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, with reasonable notice where possible.

You may delete your account at any time via the Profile section of the App. To delete your account:

• Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account
• Type DELETE to confirm
• Your account and all associated data will be permanently removed

Upon deletion, your personal data — including habit records, mood entries, journal entries, and voice recordings — will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This action is irreversible. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any unused subscription period, except where required by law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via the App or by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of Serens after updated Terms are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
